Complaint_against: KEY BANK the bank of incompetence
Complaint: "KEY the bank of incompetence" posted a negative item on my
credit report, the debt was my ex wife's . They libeled me even though I
had spoken to the them several times regarding this debt. I gave them all
info I had in an attempt to help them collect their money, twice. I was then
contacted again by their collection agency about this debt that is not
mine. I am now in the third week of an effort to correct their mistake. I
have placed a complaint with experian the credit report agency. I have
contacted " KEY the bank of incompetence" and provided all the info
requested. I found out friday I now need to submit the same info already
provided to the credit dispute division. I would of thought that this would
have been done three weeks ago. Be very aware of "KEY the bank of
incompetence" games and stay away, there are lots of other banks out there
to do business with! |

Complaint_against: Key Bank
Complaint:
I had a 10 year install loan with Key Bank. I've recently paid it off after
4 years because I could not stand dealing with them any more. My complaints:
1) Unreasonable delays in applying my payments.
2) Failure to properly apply extra payments to the preclinical, even when I
clearly stated that's what I wanted. I even sent this payment in a separate
check and envelope, indicating on the payment stub and my check that the
money was to be applied to principal only.
3) Refusal by the bank to properly credit my extra principal payments. Told
me they couldn't reverse these transactions beyond a certain date. Finally
complied, since I protested, but took their time.
4) Had to go to their web site every month, to make sure my payments had
been properly credited. And many times they weren't
5) I recently sent what I considered a pay off check. About a week later I
sent a small payment for another bill that was sent to me. I'm sorry I paid
this, but I did. Key Bank finally applied the smaller payment, but didn't
apply the pay off check until I protested.
I will never do business again with an organization that is so anti-consumer
with such questionable business practices. |

Complaint:
I setteled a Visa card debt with key Bank in october of 2006. I paid
around around 80 cents to the dollar. It was accepted. I have
all documentation to prove it.
They intern turned around and sent the balance to a credit agencey.
Once I gave them the proof, they returned the debt to key Bank, knowing key
was wrong.
Since then key is uping the debt, and falsly reporting my account as
deliquent. They I called Christine three times, and get a different
song and dance every time.
