Complaint: I opened a new line of credit at Old Navy to purchase a sale item for $14.00. When I sent payment, Old Navy claimed it was late. They have added $22.00 on to the bill for late fees. What a deal! I will never shop at any Old Navy again!

Complaint: Old Navy was running a deal that if you applied for their credit card and put the amount of your purchase on the card, you would get a discount. So we did this, however, it was early December, the christmas season, and we forgot about it. We never received a bill or the card, but eventually received a call in February, which the caller ID read as "Unknown Number", stating that they were from Old Navy, my paypent was overdue, and they added on a late fee. We asked them to please mail us a bill so that we could pay it but we weren't comfortable paying by credit card over the phone to someone who says they were from old navy but had no way to prove it. They agreed that this was fine. A couple weeks later, still no bill, then we get another call saying the same thing. We tell them the same thing and re-verify our address. A couple weeks go by, then ANOTHER CALL! Now they transfered us to a collection agency and the late fees are more than the original bill. For some r!
eason they refused to mail us either the bill or the card, but continued to call us, up to 5 times a day, to tell us we needed to pay over the phone. We have gotten it paid now because we don't want this on our credit report, but it is ridiculous that we have to pay for their mistakes and yet, WE STILL HAVE NOT SEEN EITHER A BILL OR THE CARD!

Complaint: I have been very unhappy with my experience with Old Navy. We moved in November of last year (eight months ago). At that time, I sent Old Navy a change of address. Since that time, I have not received a statement and incurred late fees. I have called a total of 5 times to update my address information. Each time, I was told that matter was corrected and I should receive a bill. Finally, I used Suntrust online bill pay to begin managing my Old Navy account. Their bill pay service has all of the information available for you. In April, I cancelled this card. Again, I asked them to send me a bill. Still no bill...I cut up the card and decided to just continue to pay online. Today, my husband and I consolidated our credit debt. I contacted Old Navy to get the mailing address to send our payment in full. I also needed them to give me my account number. I was told they could not give account information over the phone. I thought this was the reason we provided them our !
social security number, mother's maiden name, and etc. This experience has made me decide that I will no longer get credit cards from GE Moneybank who is the parent company of many credit cards.

Complaint:
My account number was changed due to stolen checks, and I issued a new check the same day and old navy was called and told what had transpired with my account. Four weeks later there was a notice for a $20 fee for a returned check. So I called again on December 1, and Old Navy supposedly straightened out the matter that day, but now my account is turned over to Ge Money. I am very upset and this is hurting my credit. Is there someone I can contact about this problem.

Complaint:
Old Navy makes it very difficult to pay their bill except by mail. I was late twice and they canceled my card even though I was a long-time customer and didn't tell me they were going to do so!  To top it off, they reported it to the credit bureau and it's the only thing that has ever been late in my life!
When they called, the balance was $60 and I paid it on the phone with the guy from India. I had tried to pay it online through another bill paying service, but it wouldn't take it two months in a row and the customer service person did not know why. And was no help at all.
I will not shop there ever again. They are ripping people off by charging them late fees because of the inconvenience of their bill paying. The stores know it as I've discussed it with the cashiers on more than one occasion. Now they are reporting it to the credit bureaus as late which hugely affects you credit score!!! Better Check it out.
I'm so sorry I ever charged anything with them - the $5 coupons weren't worth it and that's the understatement.
If everyone would boycott their stores, they just might be forced to change their policies.

Complaint: Back in May I decided to sign up for an Old Navy credit in order to get a discount on my purchase. I filled out the info, verified it with the cashier, and went on my way. I had only put 37.04 on the card and new I would have no problem paying it once I recieved my statement. However a month went by and there is no card or bill. I called Old Navy to find out that my address was incorrect.  I gave them my corrected address, and thought nothing more about it. Then 3 months later I recieve a message at my work, and after calling back it was some sketchy so called collections agency telling me that I need to pay them money. I wasn't sure what was going on so I called Old Navy AGAIN and some how my address was back to the incorrect one.  I corrected it again, and told them that I wanted a bill in the mail, and that I was not going to pay anything over the phone. Hmmm a month later, no card, NO BILL! They are killing my credit score! OLD NAVY SUCKS!

Complaint:

I had an old navy card and did not like the way they do buisness! They make it difficult for you to get your bill paid.  Their statements are always screwed up and they turn you to collections for no reason.  One month everything was fine and the next I had collections calling me!  I wish I had never got a card with them.  you would think a major company like that would be a little professional!
