Complaint:
My complaint is about Dell Financial.
I have a business, and needed a laptop computer. So I went to the Dell web
site and filled out their online business credit application.
I gave all the information required IE Tax ID, owner and financial status. I
submitted the application, and it told me that I had been approved for
$5000.00 with three different types of credit options.
I was issued a credit account number and everything. They allowed me to
place my order of the laptop. But then a few days later, they called me and
told me my order was on hold, and I needed a co-signer to get the credit.
How can this be if they approved me "not pre approve or pre qualified" but
APPROVED me! I did the smart thing when I applied, and printed the approval
screen out and saved it in a word doc.
What are my options? I know this isn't right, but I don't know how to go
about it. Can anyone help me out?
